Scott Cunningham is a third-generation playground professional that has been in the playground business since 1993. During that time, he has overseen the design and installation of thousands of parks and playgrounds and manages one of the industry’s largest sales team representing park and recreation equipment in 16 states. Scott serves on several industry advisory boards and takes a strong interest in recreational trends and finding new innovative products and design concepts to bring to market. He has also taught several playground safety seminars where he has trained playground maintenance staff members to develop comprehensive playground safety plans.

Scott lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and two children. He enjoys tennis, golf and is an avid sports fan.

Bill Patterson has over 12 years of experience in creating outdoor play environments and currently serves as a Design Consultant for CR Studio Design. Bill consults with various professionals on designing outdoor play and recreational spaces that implement research-
based best practices with innovative new design concepts in play and recreation. Bill worked with GameTime as a regional sales manager to assist rep agencies, covering 18 states, grow equipment sales by focusing on sales processes and accountability, best practices for selling, product knowledge and educational program training.

Bill lives in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago with his wife and their two children. He enjoys good cuisine, outdoor activities and is an avid sports fan.

Nick Whisenhunt began his career in the park and recreation industry working for GameTime in the marketing department and assisting with volunteer installations. He joined the Cunningham family in 2009 covering his home state of Oklahoma and is now the regional sales manager for the Midwestern territory of Cunningham Recreation. Nick is a CPSI and brings a well-rounded background with over 14 years of experience in the parks and recreation business. Nick is competent in managing a team as well as project management on large signature projects and works to develop lasting partnerships with industry stakeholders.

Nick resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and other outdoor activities.

Jason Kovarik is a Regional Sales Manager and CPSI for Cunningham Recreation with over 12 years of experience in the playground industry. He has managed hundreds of projects from the conceptual phase to completion. Jason can provide customers with knowledgeable park and playground solutions within budget and project timeline. He currently manages our eastern regional sales force. Jason also works diligently to develop beneficial industry partnerships.

Jason resides in Greensboro, North Carolina with his wife and two children. He enjoys getting outdoors with his kids, mountain biking and playing golf in his spare time.

Lisa Schenk has been with Cunningham Recreation since 1997 and is also a third-generation playground professional. Lisa is a senior designer and oversees a team of project managers/designers. She designs outdoor play and recreational spaces that implement research-based best practices with innovative new design concepts based on the needs of the client’s project.

Lisa lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys sports and outdoor recreation activities like hiking and mountain biking.

Michele Breakfield is the Director of Marketing with over 17 years of experience in the park and playground industry. Michele has both a sales and marketing background with knowledge and experience in brand management, corporate communications, social media, event planning and public relations. She is creative, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an eye for detail.

Michele has a Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Southeast Missouri State University. She resides in Farmington, Missouri with her husband and enjoys traveling, horseback riding and spending time with her family.
